When I arrived at Lewis home, I had lots of fun playing with the Lewis family and their dog, Max. But when my other foster family left, I started to realize they weren’t coming back for me. So I got a little scared; I had no idea who these people were and I didn’t want them to get close to me.
I slept in my crate, as usual, but in the morning when the mother came down, I got really scared. My whole body shook with fear. I just stayed in my crate. Then the dad came down and Max, their dog. Seeing the family playing, and Max being okay with it, made me comfortable to join in on getting some love!
As you can see, I warmed up pretty quickly to this family and in about an hour, I was my usual lovey-dovey belly-rubbing self.
Here’s a photo of me and Kris on my first full day with the Lewis family. Kris is my buddy — she even helps me write this blog!

I like this place! My foster family is really nice.
I you would like to adopt me, please leave a comment on this post or e-mail Michelle Lewis at mlewisunc@yahoo.com.
Catch you later!
